As part of our response to COVID-19, we have expanded our Hope Wear Collection to include reusable cloth face masks for families! In addition, families can sign up to be on the wait list for a custom hospital gown.
We send care packages throughout the world for our childhood cancer warriors and their super siblings. Our packages can be sent directly to the home, but can also be found at St. Luke's Children's Hospital and St.Luke's Children's Cancer Clinic in Boise, Idaho.
One thing we know from experience is the difficulty in obtaining and accessing resources that help families throughout their cancer journey. We help families develop a plan to obtain the needed resources that allow families to spend more quality time together during these difficult times.
Sometimes, our cancer warriors just need an extra boost of sunshine! We want to help by connecting our warriors to volunteers who do everything from provide princess makeover experiences to Jedi-lessons to play dates with the Avengers!
There is a myth that Childhood Cancer is rare, but we aim to raise awareness and prove that this statement is surely a myth! We will share stories of current and past warriors, aimed at writing articles that humanize our cancer kids so that they are just not statistics.
We will hold specific fundraisers for research efforts. While we want to be involved in the research efforts, we believe that a more boots-on-the-ground approach to supporting cancer families will be the most effective way to make a difference in the lives of our childhood cancer families.
